I’ve tried the first three personally and love them, and I have a few more in my sights too. Here is the lowdown on all these babies: (more…)
-1/4 cup lemon juice (the large lemon listed about should yield that amount, but get a second just in case) -1/3 cup Swerve Sweetener (Or to taste. You can also use honey, or maple syrup, etc.) -Splash of lemon extract Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk until blended. It’s essential that your mix is super chilled so that it freezes in the ice cream canister. I put my mix in the freezer for short periods of time, stirring in between, before leaving it to sit overnight in the fridge. My canister had been in the freezer for a couple of days, so it was nice and frosty. Next time I might add a touch of salt so it stays soft longer. I love experimenting! After about 20 minutes or so, you have a refreshing, tangy, lemony treat, customized to your tastes. Another one of the many ways you can get with those probiotic cultures that are so good for your digestion and immunity.
