Since seeing Deborah Lippmann’s gorgeous Glitter in the Air lacquer layered over a solid color, I’ve been in love. I’ve also seen various imitations of it on the net that inspired me as well. I can’t say this is really a true dupe, but I was pretty please with the results. reminds me of confetti birthday cake. Yum!
Here are all the products I used…
First I went with a base color of Essie’s Mint Candy Apple over my OPI Start to Finish Basecoat. I then applied a layer of Milani Gems polish. I was going for a more sparse glitter look, but this is where I landed. Again, not exactly what I intended, but I liked it. Finally, I added a couple of layers of Zoe & Zac Naturals in Pretty Pearl to give it a milky/jelly look before topping it all off with my fave, Seche Vite topcoat.
I’ll be giving this a go again soon for sure!
