A peek inside my Z-Palette

I’ve been reflecting on how my recently acquired Z palette has changed my beauty routine lately. I think the main change is that it’s gotten me to use colors that I had been neglecting. Mostly because they were in another partially filled palette in my train case, or they were pans I bought alone at makeup shows. Now they all live in peaceful harmony, ready to use on a whim.

If you aren’t familiar with what a Z-palette is, it’s a professional quality palette that has a clear window that looks into a flat magnetic interior. Onto this magnetic surface you can place MAC pro palette pans, de-potted eyeshadows, and anything you can stick a magnetic strip on and is small enough to fit in the thing. This leaves a lot of options to tidy up your makeup collection.

In my own I have items from Kevyn Aucoin, Yaby cosmetics, and Mac. I think the most beneficial part for me is being able to buy single pan items and have somewhere to put them right away.  I’m kind of curious to know what other people have put in their Z-palettes. Did you de-pot everything you could, or just a few things? What brands do you have in there? Drop me a line and let me know!
