Covergirl & Olay 2n1 Tone Rehab Foundation and Pressed Powder

As a part of my first campaign as a new Bzz Agent, I received the new foundation from Covergirl and Olay. A perfect fit right? Here are my thoughts on the product…
COVERGIRL & Olay Tone Rehab 2n1 foundation applies like some of the more expensive options you may find on the market, but of course with a much friendlier price tag. And it’s not just for aging skin. Anyone who wants to moisturize and even out their skin tone can join in on the party. The finish could be described as satiny, with a very natural result. It wears pretty well throughout the day, managing to work with your skin instead of sitting on top of it like a mask. Initially, i believed I picked up the deepest shade, but I now realize their is another shade that would be perfect for my complexion. My current color, Tawny is a bit too light/warm for my deep/cool skin. The Soft Sable shade, once i tested it in-store, proved to be a better fit. One thing that may be a drawback about his product for some people: It’s heavily scented. But that fragrance seems to decrease after application.

As you can see, Tawny isn’t a match for me.

The COVERGIRL & Olay Pressed Powder, however, was a bit too heavy for me, and did not have a shade deep enough to reflect the range of foundation colors available. I admit, however, I’m never usually a fan of pressed powders to begin with. Those who are into this type of pressed formulation may enjoy the smooth-glide serum built into the product. The serum allows the product to apply easily and my cut down on some of the heaviness, though not enough for me. In general, the product does seem to effectively reduce shine.
